The Lone Mountain Production Company is making a movie in a small fishing village somewhere in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. B. S. Wells is a director with a problem. His main stars have been kidnapped. They're being held for ransom. If that wasn't bad enough, "Entertainment Tonight" wants to interview him and his missing stars for an Oscar special. Throw in a reporter, twin sisters, a janitor who doesn't clean, a dancer, crazy locals and the Oscar starts slipping out of his grasp. Mix in a large pot and you have a recipe for some good ole' down-home fun.

• A comedy in two acts and two intermissions
